Staff Profiles

Dr. William Beliveau, MD, FCCP, is Board Certified in Internal, Pulmonary, Forensic and Critical Care Medicine, and has successfully served an investigator for many clinical research trials over the past ten years. He is the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and is the Director of Hyperbaric and Critical Care units at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is the practice manager for Atwood Medical Associates, southern New England's largest multi-specialty physician practice. He serves as Medical Director for many skilled nursing facilities in the area and is an Assistant Professor at the prestigious Brown University.

Dr. Ellen Frankel has been a valuable and respected physician member of the Clinical Partners team. She has over 20 years experience in the dermatological field with great dedication to research, making available the newest range of treatments to her patients.

Besides having the largest dermatology practice in the state, she is also the Chief of Dermatology at St. Josephs Hospital.

Caroline DiGiulio, RN, Vice President of Clinical Operations, is responsible for clinical operations and site management.
She has an extensive clinical background in medical/surgical nursing, including oncology. Ms. DiGiulio is available on-site to assist in patient care, quick and responsive query management and all clinical oversight. This includes managing the staff of clinical research coordinators to provide quality patient care in accordance with the Good Standards for Clinical Practice and FDA guidelines.
